Chief Executive Officer
Sean Clancy is CEO/President and co-founded Intermediate Bulk Containers with Gary Clancy in 1998. The company operates under three DBA names: Container Technology, Inc., Tanks for Wine, Inc., and IBC Recon Services.
Mr. Clancy is a lifelong learner and has completed executive business programs at USC’s Marshall School of Business, Wharton School of Business, and Harvard Business School. His passion for business extends to his love for the ocean and related activities. He is a two-time Ironman finisher and has completed 16 marathons. Additionally, he holds a Level 1 Master Guild of Sommeliers certification and a 100-ton USCG Captain’s License.
Sean has been married for 18 years and has no children. He currently serves on the board of the Nevada Make-A-Wish Foundation and has been a long-time board member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization.
Vice President of Business Development
Ron, the Vice President of Business Development, has been here at Intermediate Bulk Containers (DBA’s Container Technology, Inc., and Tanks for Wine, Inc.) since 2000. Ron and Sean Clancy have been back together since their first few years out of college working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Hawaii.
Shortly after he arrived at Intermediate Bulk Containers, Ron met his wife Heidi, and they had two amazing teenagers. Ice Hockey, surfing, and weightlifting are all part of Ron’s daily lifestyle with his family. His continued care for the Environment and Nature is in our company’s Core Value #3 of “Earth-Minded Stewardship!

Vice President of Operations and Sales Management
Gabe is blessed with an amazing wife, Stefanie, and three brilliant children—Patience, Serenity, and Courage—who inspire him daily. He has worked tirelessly to establish himself as a strong business mind, always open to growth and change, achieving high-level results by empowering others.
Starting in the restaurant industry, he transitioned into retail, managing stores and leading transportation and logistics for a nonprofit. Known for fixing broken business cultures, he was recruited into the Waste Sector, running hauling districts for Waste Connections. Later, at Fortune 100 company WestRock, he deepened his understanding of business and leadership. Now at CTI, he thrives alongside an exceptional team of executive leaders.
Gabe earned a bachelor’s degree in management and organizational leadership as an adult and later completed an MBA with a 4.0 GPA, applying his education in real time. He currently serves on the Solid Waste Advisory Commission in Clark County, using his business expertise to give back while exploring political opportunities for the betterment of all.
Chief Financial Officer
Jeff has over 20 years of experience in Finance departments at companies such as Accenture, Verizon, Iron Mountain, and Global Payments. Most recently, he served as CFO for Pavilion Payments. Jeff earned his BBA from James Madison University and his MBA from the University of Georgia. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and coaching his boy’s baseball teams.
